UH soccer team drops third straight on road
The Hawaii women’s soccer team heads into Big West Conference play with negative momentum after today’s 3-1 loss at Cal State Bakersfield.
It was the third straight loss for the Rainbow Wahine (5-4-2), all on the road. UH makes its BWC debut at Cal State Northridge on Sunday.
The Roadrunners (4-7-1) led by a goal at halftime and went up 2-0 in the 72nd minute, but freshman Alex Gerrain scored her first career goal on an assist from Christy Watanabe in the 77th minute to bring the Wahine within a score.
However, CSUB iced the match with an insurance goal in the 86th minute.
