UH soccer team picks up first Big West win
Second-half goals by McKenzie McGoldrick and Chelsea Miyake propelled the Hawaii women’s soccer team to its first win in Big West Conference play, a 2-0 decision over UC Riverside at Waipio Peninsula Soccer Stadium.
UH improved to 6-5-2 overall, 1-1 in the Big West. UCR dropped to 5-7-2 and 0-3.
The Rainbow Wahine next play against Cal State Fullerton at 5 p.m. on Sunday.
