No tsunami from 6.0 quake off Mexico
A magnitude 6.0 earthquake occurred about 45 miles off the coast of Mexico shortly before 8:30 p.m. Sunday Hawaii time.
The quake did not generate a response from the Pacific Tsunami Warning Center and does not pose a tsunami threat for Hawaii.
The epicenter was inside the Gulf of California.
