Police look for bandit who robbed Aina Haina bank

    October 15, 2012 CTY Bank Robbery Suspect Wanted CrimeStoppers and the Honolulu Police Department are seeking the publicâ??s assistance in locating a male who is wanted for robbing the Aina Haina branch of Territorial Savings located at 820 West Hind Drive. On October 15, 2012, at approximately 3:00 p.m., a male entered the bank, approached the teller, handed a note, and demanded money. He fled on foot in an unknown direction. Anyone with information about this incident is asked to call CrimeStoppers at 955-8300, or *CRIME on your cellular phone. CrimeStoppers and the Honolulu Police Department are asking the public’s assistance in identifying a man wanted in connection with the robbery of Aina Haina branch of Territorial Savings on Friday.

According to police, the man entered the bank around 3 p.m. and handed a teller a note demanding money. He fled on foot in an unknown direction.

The suspect is described as being 40 to 50 years old, 5-feet 6 inches tall, and weighing 300 to 350 pounds with black hair, brown eyes and a large tattoo on his left forearm.

Anyone with information on this incident is asked to call CrimeStoppers at 955-8300, or *CRIME on a cellular phone.
