Police arrest suspect in Waipahu gas station robbery
A man suspected of robbing a Tesoro gas station on Farrington Highway in Waipahu at gunpoint early Tuesday morning is now behind bars, police said.
Police arrested the 33-year-old suspect Saturday at about 10:15 p.m. near Nanakuli High and Intermediate School.
Police put out a CrimeStoppers bulletin Thursday seeking information about the suspect.
He allegedly entered the Waipahu gas station around 4:15 a.m. Tuesday,
brandished a gun and demanded money.
The suspect has not yet been charged with the crime.
