The man and woman accused of robbing the Aiea Territorial Savings Bank the day before Thanksgiving have been charged, Honolulu police said.

Twenty-seven-year-old Oliver Moniz was charged with first-degree robbery and first-degree hindering prosecution, and 19-year-old Tamira Durr was charged with first-degree robbery, police said.

The Waipahu couple allegedly used a dangerous weapon to hold up the bank around 1:15 p.m. Wednesday. They left with an undisclosed amount of cash and were arrested in Waipahu seven hours later, according to police.

Both remain in police custody and are scheduled to appear in court on Wednesday.
