2 men held in alleged robbery of Keeaumoku area bar
Police arrested two men, ages 22 and 26, Thursday for allegedly robbing a 64-year-old woman at a Keeaumoku Street bar.
Police said the two men walked into the bar at 11:30 p.m. Wednesday wanting to buy a drink.
When they were told they could not purchase alcohol, the 26-year-old Ala Moana man allegedly punched the female owner, jumped over the bar and grabbed a bottle of tequila.
The 22-year-old Makiki man allegedly shoved the woman as she tried to stop the other man.
The two fled, and police found them at the Makiki District Park.
The owner and a witness identified the men who police arrested at 12:15 a.m. Thursday on suspicion of second-degree robbery.
