Prosecutors today charged two men and a woman from Kaneohe with allegedly stealing copper wiring Wednesday afternoon along the H-3 freeway.

Police said a passing motorist saw people apparently stealing copper wiring and loading it onto a pickup truck at 1:24 p.m. Wednesday on the freeway near Hospital Rock in Windward Oahu.

The motorist saw the suspects leave toward Kaneohe and take the Likelike Highway offramp. Officers arrested them at 1:50 p.m.

John Edward Hokuolani Abraham, 41, Joseph Henry Barrrozo, 47, and Anna Marie Michiko Correa, 46, all of the same Kaneohe address, were each charged with copper theft, a Class C felony. Each also had an outstanding warrant.

Bail was set at $50,000 for the two men and $15,000 for Correa.
