Police arrest women in Waikiki prostitution cases
Honolulu police arrested two women for prostitution and another woman for solicitation for prostitution in Waikiki Thursday night.
All three were arrested on Kalakaua Avenue near Kealohalani Avenue between p.m. and midnight.
A 32-year-old Kaneohe woman and two other women, ages 23 and 27, who listed out-of-town home addresses were arrested, cited and released on bail ranging from $1,000 to $3,000.
The 27-year-old woman was arrested under the street solicitation of prostitution in the Waikiki special district law, which imposes a restriction as a condition of bail that a person stay out of Waikiki sidewalks between 6 p.m. and 6 a.m.
