A 25-year-old Ewa Beach woman was arrested Wednesday in connection with the death of a 77-year-old man who was crossing Fort Weaver Road in a crosswalk last year.

The suspect was arrested on suspicion of negligent injury and of not having a driver’s license a year ago on Jan. 16.

The pedestrian, an Ewa Beach resident, was taken in critical condition to Queen’s Medical Center, where he died on Feb. 10.

According to police, the man was crossing Fort Weaver Road near the Kilaha Street intersection when he was struck by the vehicle.
