A 53-year-old Hauula man is in police custody after he allegedly violated a protective order and allegedly sexually assaulted and threatened to kill a woman.

Police said the suspect kidnapped a 45-year-old woman in Hauula on Monday and forced her to drive to another location on Oahu where he allegedly sexually assaulted her while repeatedly threatening to kill her.

The suspect was arrested on suspicion of two counts of violating a protective order, first-degree terroristic threatening, second-degree assault, first-degree sexual assault and kidnapping. He is also being held on suspicion of violating an earlier protective order on Jan. 26.
