A 27-year-old Air Force airman stationed in Hawaii was booked in northern Utah where he was visiting for allegedly luring teenaged girls whom he met online to have sex with him.

The Roy City Police Department, in a news release, said they booked Luis Salguero into the Weber County Jail on a third-degree felony charge of unlawful sexual intercourse and enticing a minor on the Internet. Additional charges could result from other victim identification in Roy and elsewhere, police said.

Salguero is visiting family in Magna in northern Utah and has been in Utah since Feb. 12, police said. Salguero is an active duty Air Force enlisted airman and stationed in Hawaii, Roy police said. There was no immediate comment from Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam this morning.

Police said Salguero was reported as a suspicious person in Riverdale. Officers responded and discovered information that Salguero was sexually involved with underaged girls in Roy.

Roy police have identified at least one victim in Roy with other possible victims in Roy and Salt Lake City.

Salguero, posing as a teenager age 15 or 17 and using the name “Jon Anders,” used the website “Meetme.com” to entice young females, police said.
