Freshman hitter Siki Zarkovic put down 13 kills and sophomore hitter Brook Sedore added 12 but it was not enough for Hawaii to overcome 22 service errors as the 10th-ranked Warriors fell to No. 14 Cal Baptist, 25-19, 24-26, 25-19, 25-23, in a Mountain Pacific Sports Federation volleyball match tonight in Riverside, Calif.
Sophomore hitter JP Marks had 10 kills for Hawaii (7-13, 6-11). Sophomore middle Davis Holt was in on eight of the Warriors’ 14 blocks.
For the Lancers (9-11, 6-9), Guilherme Koepp put down 18 kills and Levi Cabral 13. Cal Baptist had 10 aces, six by Cabral, with 13 service errors. Freshman hitter Rocky DeLyon, a Seabury Hall graduate, had eight kills with one error on 12 swings and an ace.
The Warriors had just four aces.
