UH men’s basketball game won’t be televised
Due to lower than expected ticket sales, the University of Hawaii said tonight’s Collegeinsider.com Tournament men’s basketball game with the Air Force Academy will not be televised locally.
UH had said sales would have to hit the estimated break even point of 6,500 before it would allow its TV partner, Oceanic Time Warner Cable, to air the game.
Tipoff is 7 p.m. at the Stan Sheriff Center.
UH did not say how many tickets had been sold as of this morning, saying only, "ticket sales are lower than expected."
