Traffic congestion on the H-1 freeway heading eastbound past Middle Street.

Oahu drivers planning to use the H-1 Freeway this Sunday through early Monday morning could face repair-related traffic delays, state transportation officials warn.

There will be multiple lane closures in the Ewa-bound H-1 Freeway between the Pearl City/Waimalu off-ramp and the Waipahu off-ramp for viaduct repairs starting 9 a.m. Sunday through 5 a.m. Monday, according to the state Department of Transportation.

Two Koko Head-bound freeway lanes from the Kamehameha Highway overpass to the H-1 and H-2 merge will also be closed 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Sunday.
