A burglary suspect picked the wrong house to break into over the weekend.

Police said the suspect entered the Moiliili home of a man who lives near a police officer. The officer, who was at home and off-duty, noticed a 43-year-old man enter his neighbor’s home on Saturday and he called on-duty police officers, who arrived and arrested the suspect in the home.

A police spokeswoman said the suspect was charged with first-degree burglary.
