Neighbor credited with helping police catch suspect in car break-in

An alert neighbor helped police catch a man who allegedly broke into a car in Makiki.
Police said the neighbor called 911 after observing a 32-year-old man break into his neighbor’s vehicle Sunday.
Arriving officers noticed the driver’s side door window was broken and found the suspect hiding in the vehicle, police said.
Officers arrested the man on suspicion of unauthorized entry into a motor vehicle.
