A woman in her 50s was killed this morning when the moped she was driving was struck by a truck in Ewa Beach.
The accident took place at about 9:15 a.m. on Franklin D. Roosevelt Avenue near Kasaan Bay Street, according to Emergency Medical Services.
Police closed FDR Avenue between Philippine Sea and Coral Sea roads while they investigated the accident. The road reopened before 12:30 p.m.
The truck driver was not injured.
