Hawaii tops UC Davis in opener of final home series
Conner George broke a 2-for-34 skid with a two-out, two-run single in the seventh inning and finished with three RBIs in Hawaii’s 5-2 win over UC Davis on Friday night at Les Murakami Stadium.
Connor Little (2-6) pitched his first nine-inning complete game for the Rainbows (13-33, 8-14 Big West), who moved into a tie for seventh place with UC Riverside in the conference.
Little scattered nine hits over nine innings with no walks and five strikeouts.
Kaeo Aliviado hit two doubles, scored once and drove in a run and Pi’ikea Kitamura went 1-for-2 with two runs and two walks.
