HAGATNA, Guam » A Guam man who was arrested after an 11-year-old became pregnant has been convicted of sexually assaulting her and two other girls.

According to the Pacific Daily News, 52-year-old Nicholas Camaddu was convicted Tuesday (Monday in Hawaii)  of criminal sexual conduct. He was arrested in February 2012 after the girl reported that she was pregnant. Police say they then uncovered two other victims.

Attorney General spokeswoman Carlina Charfauros says prosecutors plan to pursue a sentence of life in prison without parole. Sentencing is set for June 20.

Camaddu previously was convicted of criminal sexual conduct in 1979 after he and two other men raped a woman in her Dededo home. The judge in that case described the crime as "gruesome" and said he only regretted he could not sentence Camaddu to life in prison.
