Honolulu police are asking for the public’s help in identifying a suspect in a sex assault in the Keeaumoku area Tuesday morning.

Police said the suspect approached a woman from behind at 10:25 a.m. Tuesday as she was entering her Ahana Street apartment.

Police said the suspect struck the woman, sexually assaulted her and fled.

The suspect is described as in his 20s, 6 feet, 3 inches tall, weighing 250 pounds with short, black spiky hair and brown eyes.

Anyone with information about the incident s asked to call CrimeStoppers at 955-8300 or *CRIME on a cellphone. Anonymous texts can also be sent to ”CS808” plus your message to 274637 or CRIMES
