Magnitude 5.2 earthquake strikes off Philippines
NEW YORK >> The U.S. Geological Survey says a magnitude 5.2 earthquake has struck off the eastern Philippines.
No tsunami alert was issued.
The U.S.G.S. reported that the quake hit at 4:33 a.m. local time Sunday at a depth of5.3 miles. Its epicenter was about 75 miles northeast of San Isidro.
There were no immediate reports of injuries or damage.
