Waikiki tourist arrested for allegedly hitting boyfriend
A 18-year-old tourist from France was arrested after he allegedly assaulted his boyfriend in Waikiki Tuesday night.
Police said the couple was arguing just after 9 p.m. when the suspect, who gave police a Paris address, allegedly struck his 33-year-old boyfriend. The suspect was arrested on suspicion of second-degree assault at a Kuhio Avenue hotel.
