Fire investigators are trying to determine the cause of a $450,000 fire that destroyed a Pearlridge townhouse displacing two men and two women this morning.

Fire investigators are trying to determine the cause of a $325,000 fire that destroyed a Pearlridge townhouse displacing three men and a woman Friday morning.

 The women, 48, was taken to the hospital in serious condition to be treated for smoke inhalation.

The fire at the Pacific Village complex on Ualo street near Pearlridge Center was reported at 6:48 a.m. It was brought under control  10 minutes later. Six cat

Capt. Terry Seelig, Fire Department spokesman, said firefighters responding to the two-alarm fire used its foam system to rapidly knock down the fire preventing it from spreading to other units in the townhouse complex.

The  fire started in the second story of the three-story unit.

The Red Cross was summoned to help the four people who lost their home.
