An apparent disagreement between two homeless men in Kailua District Park ended tragically early Friday morning with one of them being stabbed and killed.

Police said the two men were arguing around 5:20 a.m.

The victim, 48, was taken to the hospital in critical condition where he died.

The 58-year-old suspect, who has no local address, was located near the park after a witness went to the Kailua police substantion to report the confrontation.

He was arrested on suspicion of second-degree murder.
