Saturday’s women’s volleyball match between No. 9 Hawaii and No. 10 UCLA at the Stan Sheriff Center was announced as official sellout moments after the Rainbow Wahine won Set 1 25-18.
It is the first sellout of the 10,300-seat facility since the 2011 NCAA regional semifinal between the Rainbow Wahine and USC. There have been 13 previous sellouts for women’s volleyball since the arena opened in 1994.
