Police caught a suspected thief Sunday morning in the McCully area after stopping the man for a traffic violation, police said.

The 33-year-old man was riding his bicycle around 10:34 a.m. when a patrol officer stopped him for a traffic violation and discovered that he had two outstanding warrants for his arrest, police said.
