UH soccer team falls at home to Portland State
Despite a 20-5 advantage in shots, Hawaii could not find the back of the net in a 2-0 loss to Portland State to cap off the Outrigger Hotels and Resorts Soccer Classic at Waipio Peninsula Soccer Stadium.
It snapped a three-match winning streak for the Rainbow Wahine and was the third home loss of the season for UH (3-3), which fell only once at WPSS in 2012.
The Vikings (3-4) got goals in the 25th and 69th minutes.
Florida Gulf Coast won the tournament title with wins over PSU (1-0) and Idaho State (5-1).
