Hawaii County police search for man wanted on warrants

    Hawaii County police are looking for Adrien Kalani, who is wanted on warrants.

Hawaii County police are searching for a 49-year-old South Kohala man wanted on warrants.

Adrien H. Kalani, who has no permanent address, is wanted for contempt of court, promoting a dangerous drug and possessing drug paraphernalia.

He is also wanted for questioning in connection with an assault and an auto theft.

He is described as about 6 feet 2 inches tall, weighing 300 pounds with short black-and-gray hair and brown eyes.

Police caution the public not contact or approach him.

Anyone who knows his whereabouts is asked to call the Police Department’s non-emergency line at 935-3311. Tipsters who prefer to remain anonymous may call Crime Stoppers at 961-8300 in Hilo or 329-8181 in Kona.
