Victims in 2 fatal vehicle accidents ID’d
The Medical Examiner’s office has identified the victims of two accidents.
An autopsy will be conducted to determine the cause of death of Alexander Leong, 49, of Waianae, who crashed his dirt bike at the Kahuku Motocross Park in Kahuku Monday.
Paramedics took Leong to the hospital in extremely critical condition following the 11:45 a.m. accident where he later died.
Keoni Keawemauhili, 26, of Waianae, died of multiple blunt force injuries when the car he was driving near Honokai Hale Friday clipped a black Mercedes sedan, driven by a 40-year-old Kapolei woman, crossed over the median and broadsided a town-bound truck driven by a 50-year-old man.
The crash happened at 92-789 Farrington Highway, east of Laaloa Street, at 9:08 p.m.
Paramedics took Keawemauhili to the hospital in extremely critical condition. Police said he was pronounced dead about an hour after the crash at 10:01 p.m.

Officials say speed and alcohol are factors in the crash.
The woman driving the Mercedes was not injured.
The man driving the truck suffered minor injuries and was taken to Waianae Comprehensive Center for treatment.
