Hawaiian Airlines said today it is redesigning its long-haul seating configuration on its Airbus A330 aircraft and will offer a new class of seats next year that offer more legroom and other amenities.

The new Extra Comfort economy seats will debut on all of Hawaiian’s A330s on June 1 and will feature five more inches of legroom for a total of 36 inches. Hawaiian said the pricing for those seats are not available yet. 

In addition to more legroom, travelers who upgrade to Extra Comfort will receive priority boarding at the departure gate; complimentary on-demand in-seat entertainment featuring dozens of movies and TV shows; personal electrical power outlet to charge laptops and other electronic devices (some aircraft may not be equipped by June); souvenir pillow and blanket set (on international routes only); and premium meal selections (on international routes only).
