A Kauai jury today convicted a 63-year-old man Thursday in the sexual assault of a 26-year-old woman who was camping at Anini Beach in August.

Samuel Charles McFadden, formerly of Anini, was found guilty of second-degree sexual assault.

McFadden presented himself as an “energy healer” and sexually assaulted the woman while providing his services, the Kauai Office of the Prosecuting Attorney said in a news release.
