Stephanie Michele Quinajon and Ryan Nelson Lau were wed Oct. 18 in a ceremony officiated by Nathan Paikai at Foster Botanical Garden.

The bride is the daughter of Michael and Cindy Quinajon of Hilo. She is a retail store manager for T-Mobile USA.

The groom is the son of Selina Wong of Hono­lulu and Eric and Kathleen Ng of Monterey, Calif. He is a cavalry scout with the Hawaii National Guard.

The couple resides in Honolulu.

EMILY KUKULIES AND ARNOLD ABANGAN

Emily Ann Kukulies and Arnold Kiyoshi Abangan were wed June 23 in Hua Hin, Thailand.

The bride is the daughter of Ann and Alan Kukulies of Columbia, Md. She is a graduate of University of Hawaii with a master’s degree in business administration and of Old Dominion University with a Master of Science in educational administration. She is director of student life and development for Hono­lulu Community College.

The groom is the son of Sonny and Miyo Abangan of Wahiawa. He is a graduate of the University of Hawaii with a post-baccalaureate certificate in secondary education and a bachelor’s in geography. He is a teacher at Leilehua High School.

The couple resides in Wahiawa.

Sharon and Stephen Silva celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary Dec. 21.

The couple was married on Dec. 21, 1963, at St. Theresa Church. They have three children — Sue, Steph and Shauna — and eight grandchildren.

The couple resides in Hono­lulu.
