Police arrest man, 52, for alleged robbery on Waikiki beach
A 52-year-old homeless man was arrested at Sans Souci Beach in Waikiki after he allegedly stole money from a woman, Honolulu police said.
The incident allegedly occurred at 8 a.m. Monday when the suspect approached a 22-year-old woman and demanded money, according to police.
The suspect took an undisclosed amount of money and fled, police allege. He was arrested an hour later for suspicion of first-degree robbery.
