City warns against online offers for Bruno Mars tickets
The city is warning the public to avoid offers from third-party online sites for tickets to April’s Bruno Mars concerts at Neal Blaisdell Center, noting that the tickets don’t actually even go on sale until Feb. 3.
Tickets will only be available at the Blaisdell box office and online through Ticketmaster beginning that day, city Department of Enterprise Services Deputy Director Tracy Kubota said.
A search online showed at least one web site advertising specific seats within the Blaisdell arena for sale.
“This happens quite often with big shows all over,” Kubota said. “We just want to let people know that the city does not deal with anyone but Ticketmaster.”
It was announced earlier this week that the Grammy-winning pop star, an Oahu native, will hold concerts at Blaisdell on consecutive nights April 18-19.
