Ala Moana Boulevard reopened following emergency repairs
All lanes of Ala Moana Boulevard have been reopened between Ahui and Kamakee streets following emergency repair work to the steel plates covering construction areas.
The plates apparently came loose, requiring crews to weld them back on, according to a state Department of Transportation news release.
The eastbound left lane and left-turn lane onto Ward Avenue; and westbound center lane, left lane and left-turn lane onto Ward Avenue were closed for about an hour.
