Pipe break closes lane on King Street in Kalihi
One of the two Ewa-bound lanes at 2178 N. King St., at the corner of Poepoe Pl. is closed as Board of Water Supply crews repair a broken 6-inch main.
About 10 customers have been without water service since about 11 p.m. last night when the main, which was originally installed in 1941, broke.
A water wagon is set up in Poepoe Pl.
Motorists are advised to expect possible traffic delays throughout the day and avoid the area if possible.
