Laie McDonald’s closing Monday night
This is the last day of service for the long-running Laie McDonald’s restaurant.
Previously announced plans for the land call for development of a Courtyard by Marriott hotel on the site of the restaurant and the old Laie Inn that was demolished in 2009.
Laie McDonald’s, a franchised restaurant, will relocate about 200 yards farther north, according to a September story in the Honolulu Star-Advertiser.
The hotel is slated to open sometime in 2015, according to the earlier report.
