Traffic stop leads to arrest of three men for allegedly stealing moped
A routine traffic stop on Thursday led to the arrest of three men suspected of stealing a moped.
Police said they pulled over a pickup truck carrying a 19-year-old Red Hill man, an 18-year-old Salt Lake man, and an 8-year-old Pearl City man. During the stop, officers noticed a moped in the bed of the vehicle. A check confirmed that the moped was stolen and the three men were arrested on suspicion of second-degree theft.
