Police investigating man found dead at Pokai Bay
Homicide detectives are investigating the death of a man in his 40s who was found at Pokai Bay Sunday.
The Medical Examiner’s office will perform an autopsy to determine cause of death and the identity of the victim.
The victim was found unresponsive on the beach at Pokai Bay and taken to the hospital in critical condition by paramedics around 5:45 p.m. where he later died.
The case is classified as an unattended death, pending the outcome of the autopsy.
