A 41-year-old man was in police custody after he allegedly assaulted an officer and resisted arrest.
Officers responding to a theft near Kapiolani Boulevard located the suspect at about 8:20 a.m. Monday. As officer arrested him, he allegedly attacked an officer, who was treated for his injuries, police said.
Officers arrested the suspect on suspicion of theft, assaulting an officer and resisting arrest.
