The Hawaii Police Department will hold a community meeting from noon to 2 p.m. April 17 at the Kona police station.

The meeting is to allow the public to meet the police command staff and to discuss concerns with the police chief and commanders who oversee operations in the Kona district. To help commanders focus on specific concerns, police request that participation be limited to people who live or work in the Kona district.

Those interested in participating but unable to attend may email their concerns or comments to copsysop@co.
