Board of Water Supply crews completed repairs to a 6-inch pipe on Kalakaua Ave. in Waikiki.

Service was restored to customers at 2232 Kalakaua Ave. and  two mauka lanes of Kalakaua that turn left onto Seaside were reopened by about 6 a.m.

The break was initially reported at 8:42 p.m. as a break in a 4-inch line. But crews discovered that a 6-inch cast iron pipe had broken.
