Police look for suspect who entered car in Nuuanu to rob driver

Police are looking for a man who robbed a 23-year-old man Tuesday while he was inside his vehicle in Nuuanu.

Police said the suspect entered the man’s vehicle while he was seated inside, and took his property.

The robbery occurred at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the corner of Pali Highway and Nuuanu Pali Drive.

The suspect fled on foot and the victim chased him until the suspect threatened him with a handgun, police said.

Police said they could not find the suspect Tuesday afternoon.

The 23-year-old was not injured.
