The Medical Examiner’s office identified the 54-year-old Waipahu man whose body was found at Pounders Beach in Laie on Sunday as Charles Fuentes.
The case has been classified as an unattended death pending the results of an autopsy.
The victim was swimming just after 6:30 p.m. No other information was immediately available.
