Police investigate death of man found on Kailua trail
Police are investigating the death of a 48-year-old man who was discovered on a Kailua trail.
Police said the man was found 4 p.m. Monday unconscious on a wooded trail off Kapaa Quarry Road.
The man was last seen alive about 3 a.m. by a friend.
An unsuccessful attempt to resuscitate the man was made, police said. He was pronounced dead.
Police classified the case as an unattended death.
