The two male occupants of a car were seriously hurt after the car went over a median on the H-2 freeway Tuesday into oncoming traffic and got into an apparent crash.

Emergency Medical Services personnel treated the two men, ages 20 and 29, who were in serious condition and took them by ambulance to the hospital.

EMS said the car went over the median into oncoming traffic in the southbound lanes of the H-2 near the Mililani Technology Park.

The rear portion of the car was damaged, EMS said.
