    Maui police released a sketch of a man suspected in the attempted kidnapping of a 10-year-old boy in Pukalani.

Maui police have released a sketch of the man suspected of trying to kidnap a 10-year-old boy in Pukalani on Sept. 26.

The suspect is described as being in his 30s, about 5 feet 5 inches tall, weighing 240 pounds with medium brown colored skin, and bald except for patches of black hair. He is further described as “local,” possibly Hawaiian, with a diamond-shaped tribal tattoos running down the outside of his right arm.

The suspect was last seen driving away in a faded Honda Civic with dark purple tint and a white “Piranha” skeleton sticker on the right rear bumper.

Anyone who sees the suspect or the vehicle is asked to call 911.
