Police investigating alleged Sand Island robbery, stabbing
Police detained two men following an alleged robbery and stabbing Monday morning at Sand Island State Park that sent a 48-year-old man to the hospital.
Police said the 48-year-old victim was stabbed during the robbery attempt at about 10 a.m.
An ambulance took the victim to the hospital in serious condition at 1 p.m., according to an Emergency Medical Services report. The victim delayed requesting help, EMS said
