Water main break on Ewa Beach street
Police and the Board of Water Supply responded to an 8-inch water main break that caused a road to bow up in Ewa Beach.
Four homes are without water service, the Board of Water Supply said.
The Board of Water Supply said crews are repairing the cast-iron main, which was installed in 1958.
The break occurred on Amio Street near Pupu Street. Police dispatch received a report of the break at 1:50 p.m.
The Board of Water Supply is providing water to residents from a hydrant.
Police closed a traffic lane in the immediate area, but residents are able to get around using other streets.
